Joyce Banfi (Banfi Knits)

Biography

Joyce Banfi of Franklin, Wisconsin has been machine knitting since 1987.  She earned a fashion design certificate from the College of DuPage, Glen Ellyn,  Illinois, in 1995. The business (Banfi Knits) was formed in 1996.  Joyce thoroughly enjoys the challenge of learning and trying out new techniques on the knitting machine.  She desires to pass along what she has learned over the years, by way of teaching at seminars, workshops and private lessons.  She has had the opportunity to demonstrate at various seminars and workshops nationally.   In addition to this, she had sponsored the Milwaukee Machine Knit Seminar for the past several years.  Her topics of interest have led her to the study and writing of several patterns, as well.
